Lexington, KY (July 13, 2017) – USDF Connection, the member magazine of the United States Dressage Federation, won a coveted General Excellence award in the 2017 American Horse Publications Equine Media Awards contest.

USDF Connection received the General Excellence Association Publication award in its circulation category of 15,000+. Entries were judged on a combination of editorial content, design, and the publication's effectiveness in meeting its stated mission.

“With so many excellent equine-industry association publications, it is an honor and a thrill to win the General Excellence award,” said USDF Connection editor Jennifer Bryant. “With each issue, we strive to enhance USDF members' connection with the organization and to reinforce the USDF's mission of education, recognition of achievement, and promotion of dressage.”

USDF President George Williams added, "We are pleased to see the wonderful work of the USDF Connection staff be recognized by their peers in the equine industry with this prestigious award, and are very proud of their accomplishment."

Published ten times a year, USDF Connection is delivered via print and digital edition to the entire United States Dressage Federation membership. USDF members are arguably our nation's most committed devotees of dressage, which is both the art of classical horsemanship and a fast-growing international, Olympic, and Paralympic sport.
