USDF's member magazine wins
publishing awards
USDF Connection, the member magazine of the United States Dressage Federation,
trotted off with four honors in the annual American Horse Publications awards
contest. Awards, for material published in 2015, were presented June 18 during
the 2016 AHP “May the Horse Be with You” seminar in Orlando, FL.
USDF Connection editor Jennifer Bryant's coverage of the 2015 Reem Acra FEI
World Cup Dressage Final in Las Vegas, “Valegro Does Vegas,” took second place
in its circulation category in the Editorial Event Coverage Single Article
division. Her “Ringside” editorial columns “Think Globally, Act Locally” and
“Peeling the Other Onion” garnered third place and an honorable mention,
respectively, in the Personal Single Column category.
Contributor L.A. Pomeroy's
story on dressage-attire fashion trends, “Dressed to Thrill,” won an honorable
mention in the Feature Single Article division.
“I'm proud to see USDF Connection
represented in the very competitive field of equine publishing,” said Bryant.
“We strive to bring top-notch editorial content to the USDF membership that
strengthens the USDF's mission of education, recognition of achievement, and
promotion of the sport of dressage.”
