United States Dressage Federation Announces Departure of Senior Director Cindy Vimont
Lexington, KY (June 12, 2014) - The United States Dressage Federation (USDF)
announced today that Cindy Vimont will be retiring her position as Senior
Director of Member Programs on June 13, after more than twelve years in the
position. Vimont has been instrumental in furthering the development of
member programs and improved services for USDF and its members. Before
joining USDF, Vimont served as Director International Disciplines for the
United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), and brought her dressage and
management expertise to USDF when the organization relocated to Lexington, KY
in 2002.
USDF Executive Director Stephan Hienzsch stated; "On behalf of the USDF
Executive Board, I want to thank Cindy for her innumerable contributions and unwavering
dedication to the organization. Cindy's support and leadership will be
greatly missed, and we wish her the very best in the future. I have every
confidence that seasoned staff has been well positioned to assure continuity in
the program and administration and customer service provided to our
members."
Vimont is looking forward to taking time to travel and catch up on personal
projects this summer.
