Entry and Invitation Qualifications Announced for US Dressage Finals
Lexington, KY (February 21, 2013) – The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) has announced the entry and invitation qualifications for the 2013 US Dressage Finals presented by Adequan®. Champion and Reserved Champions at each of the nine Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Dressage Championships, who have achieved a minimum score, filed a "Declaration of Intent", and are US citizens, will be eligible to compete. In addition, "Wild Card" invitations will also be available to high scoring competitors in the regional championships, who are not otherwise eligible.
The 2013 US Dressage Finals presented by Adequan®, will be held November 7-10, 2013, at the Kentucky Horse Park. It will be the first head-to-head competition in dressage, showcasing adult amateur and open riders, at Training Level through Grand Prix. The event will include an Open Division at Training Level through Grand Prix, as well as all Freestyles. Additionally, it will include an Adult Amateur Division at Training Level through Grand Prix. These finals will allow horse and rider combinations, who qualify through the nine Great American/USDF Regional Championships, the opportunity to compete on the national stage.
