USDF Announces New Group Member Organization (GMO) Online Member Roster Submission Process
Lexington, KY (June 3, 2010) – United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is pleased to announce that GMOs now have the ability to submit membership roster entries online by logging onto the USDF Web site. This new program allows GMOs to submit their member updates in a more efficient manner, eliminating the need to e-mail or mail hard copy.
When a GMO representative logs onto the USDF Web site, they will be able to view the previous year's membership roster. Members for the new year can then be selected from the previous roster and edits made to their contact information. The roster can then be submitted and a batch number will be provided. The GMO can then call the USDF office with a credit card number or mail a check, referencing the batch number. Once payment has been received, the roster will be entered into the USDF database.
Online membership roster submission will greatly reduce the lag time from when the member joins the GMO to when they are entered into the USDF database and will allow for greater ease in updating group member contact information by the GMOs. The new online roster entry program promotes the "Going Green" campaign effort between USDF and the GMOs by eliminating the need for mailing hardcopy roster updates to USDF.
Chad Compton, Director of IT Services, added "The new roster submission program will help to keep all data up-to-date and allow for faster processing times which will result in better service to our members as well as reducing data entry errors inherent in manual processes."
