Aurora, OH (March 12, 2010)—The 2009 SUCCEED® Holiday Fundraiser to benefit the United States Equestrian Team Foundation (USET) has come and gone. But the fun can be relived again on HRTV. Highlights of the event will premier on the network Monday, March 15 at 10:30 P.M. ET/7:30 P.M. PT, and re-air Tuesday and the following Sunday, March 21.
The USET Holiday Gala Fundraiser was originally held live at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL, last December 11-12. The event raised $20,853 for the USET Foundation. The two-night program of live performances featured more than 20 celebrities from across the equestrian world. Some of the equestrians involved in the program include dressage Olympian Steffen Peters, Karen and David O'Connor, Chester Weber, Lynn Palm, Monty Roberts, Gina Miles, Courtney King-Dye, and many more.
"We are proud of our contribution to the teams and to the industry at large," said John Hall, President of Freedom Health, makers of SUCCEED® and co-host and co-sponsor of the event. "In addition to raising funds for the US Teams, this event was simply a great time for all involved, and is sure to be great television entertainment for horse enthusiasts everywhere."
The USET Fundraiser is co-sponsored by SUCCEED® and Wellington Classic Dressage. For more information on the 2009 Gala, including photographs from the event, visit www.succeedevent.com.
