For Immediate Release
Friday, November 21, 2008

The USEF Dressage Committee invites all members of the dressage community to participate in an open forum on Thursday, December 4, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. local time during the Adequan/United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Annual Convention in Denver, CO. The Dressage Committee hopes for as much input as possible on the Performance Standards Rule Change Proposal during this open forum. We also would like to further discuss the challenges for regions outside the major competition areas, and also review the latest version of the proposed Rider Test.

Additionally, the USEF Dressage Committee will be considering a new initiative to review the consistency of U.S. judging. In the quest for improvement and growth of our sport, the Dressage Committee is looking forward to a constructive exchange of ideas at the open forum.

Founded in 1973, the United States Dressage Federation is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to education, recognition of achievement, and promotion of dressage. For more information about USDF membership or programs, visit www.usdf.org, email [email protected], or call (859) 971-2277.
