The 2007 USDF Strategic Plan

For Immediate Release
Thursday, March 8, 2007

As of February 2007, USDF has updated its Strategic Plan, which will serve as the organization's road map to change. I have formed a task force to make recommendations to the USDF Executive Board on implementation of the Strategic Plan. The Plan targets what we are not doing today, but need to do in the future, and examines those things that we currently do well, but should be done differently in the future. It will also bring a greater level of focus to USDF's future activities.

USDF is positioned well to serve our core purpose of education, recognition of achievement, and promotion of dressage. Thinking and planning strategically will be an important component in reaching our short and long-term goals.

A short summary of the USDF Strategic Plan is given in the first link below. The second link gives the entire Strategic Plan.
